Day 14: Eye(lash monsters) with secret numbers!

I seriously had no idea what I was doing here, and I have absolutely no idea how to make eyes. Just took some photo refs and tried to learn something. Eyelashes are really hard. I mean really. Not pleased with the results. Buut on the bright side I think I might actually learn to pain these if I just practise. I think I actually did learn something already. (Or wait, is it all in my head? Can't always tell. Hmm what?)

Also adding some randomness quick screenshot studies where I'm just trying to learn to understand values and forms.

Day 13: Ant

It's an aaaant! Yack. Don't like those. But it was fun to paint. Photo ref used (obviously).

Erm there's nothing fishy going on here. Just keep staring at the ant. Cause it really was the topic.

Day 12. Sunset.

Guess I don't need to tell you that these are pretty quick photostudies.
Ngh. I..really..should..learn..to...use...more...brushes.. And learn to like, I don't know.. paint.

Oh hey guess what I'm starting to play Guild Wars 2 soon. But I promise not to play it that hc. And I promise to keep drawing and painting. Really I do! But I mean have you checked out Guild Wars 2 conceptart?? Check it out. I mean.. it's just... Amazing! Man, if I could do that kind of stuff from my head. It would be like pretty fantastic. Hmm also I would propably be working in the art industry then. :D

Day 10: Childhood mem..Wait what??

So day 10 became mission impossible for me so I cheated and asked a new topic from my little bro.
The topic he gave was alien (as in not the movie-alien, but just alien in general). I'm so terrible at drawing creatures from imagination. I don't even know what this is, just tried to mess something up. And it's terrible. I mean seriously. Really terrible. I'm embarrassed to post it here. Hmm maybe if I started drawing more bugs I could do creatures from imagination. That would be neat.

Day 9: Someone you love

It's my husband, whom I love very much. <3
He stole my heart eight years ago and has since owned it. And I don't mind. :)
Wanted to make it perfect but didn't really manage in it.. There's something fishy with the eyes at least.

So I will not be able to draw tomorrow but I'll be updating again on sunday.

Day 8: A bad habit

Just some pencil scribbling this time. It is supposed to present my shopping addiction... to art stuff!
I just loove shopping new pencils, brushes, sketchbooks and other art supplies. I don't know if it's a bad habit but well..

But it's the little dragon sittin on my shoulder who's making me buy these stuff!! Seriously! You can't see it?? She is actually not even supposed to look like me, just didn't feel like drawing me, physically, just methaphorically. In a way. Or something. I don't even know what I'm mumbling about myself.  -_-
